Use the Library Catalogue to search up books.
Access the Kiosk to look up titles by genre, subject or course topics.
Use The Penticton Public Library to access HOOPLA for free. You will need a Library Card to access this site (this is free for Penticton residents).
District Learning Resources & Databases
Click HERE to search the DEEP WEB and access databases. You will need a login and password to access these databases if you are logging in from outside the District. Check with your Teacher-Librarian.
Remember to do an ANVANCED search. Search by specific search terms, try a “Boolean search” (AND, OR, NOT), check the Lexile, search by Publication, modify the date range, and search by text format (magazine, journal, encyclopedia article etc.).
Remember to use the CITATION TOOLS and keep track or your resources.
